The purpose of WOVEN (Written, Oral, Visual, Electronic, and Nonverbal) communication is to build upon the basics introduced in English 1101 and continue to help students learn more methods of communication and how to communicate more effectively.



The instructors of English 1102 use engaging themes that are centered around science, technology, literature, and popular culture. In this course, we are learning how to apply theory which is critical for academics as well as professional success. We have also learned how to frame our ideas and back them up using our arguments and how to defend our ideas against counterarguments.

This website is a prime example of a combination of the many modes of communication we have learned about through this course.
